monday update

Hello! I’m so so sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve been a bit poorly and therefore not had much time to blog at all – looking at the laptop was killing me! I really appreciate all the new followers and all of you who have stuck with me for the last couple of weeks, i’m really hoping to get a lot more written this week to share with you all. So a big sorry there. So honestly this past week i’ve been in bed but i’ve had a lot of time to think and time to myself which is always lovely! So this is what’s been dominating my world this week:

1. Ugly Betty.
Okay I know i’m not the only one who loves Betty! Although this show is what i’d call a ‘Mickey Mouse’ show, something where you know the outcome instantly and the characters and plot are often thin but it’s such a great easy watch. I love Betty, sympathize with her dearly and i’m dying for a job at Mode! So i’ve been revisiting the first series aswell as naughtily downloading the newest series (i just cannot wait) and it’s brilliant, helped take my mind off a lot of things, primarily feeling rubbish!

2. Lush baths.
There simply isn’t a cure for a lot of illnesses, I’ve really just had to stick it out with vitamins and water but theres one thing that always makes me feel better..silky hot water with a lush item popped in for good measure! My favourites by a long way are the bubble bars, i’ve had the same one for ages because such a small amount goes a long way – plus it makes my bath go awesome colours. Having a lush bath at strategic times during the week has really helped me feel a million times better. Thanks Lush!

3. Lady GaGa.
I honestly think this woman is a genius. Granted, she owes a lot to Madonna but she’s made modern pop cool again, and she’s done it all by herself. Shes a fashion icon and her voice rivals some of the greatest warblers around. I snuggled down on the sofa last week with a big blanket and the Brit Awards and although most of it was, well, it’s not the VMAs is it…but Gagas touchingly perfect contribution and tribute to Alexander Mcqueen just proved that the Lady herself is due every ounce of recognition as the most innovative new popstar around.

4. Movies.
I am so psyched for Alice in Wonderland, we’ve booked 3D tickets to see it at the IMAX on South Bank and I just cannot wait. I’ve got a lot of films on my hit list at the moment including Exit Through The Gift Shop which is in cinemas in two weeks. While i’ve been ill i’ve not actually watched that many movies but there are a few I want to catch up on! Anyone got any good recommendations?

5. Spring trends!
So excited about going shopping to buy peaches, florals, nudes and leather studs! I am loving all this seasons clothing and I can’t wait to get all new exciting wardrobe pieces!

Aside from all this, i’ve been listening to:

Frank Turner – Hold Your Tongue.
I do a lot of photography for this guy (which you can see on any of the links below my banner) but I have to say this is one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Give it a go, you’ll love it! Promise.

So what have you all been up to this week? Fill me in on all your goss and point me in the direction of all your new blog posts, I LOVE reading all your blogs.
Thanks so so so much for subscribing and I’ll be posting very soon.
Lots of love, Zx
