We already know from the video below how much I totally fell in love with The Estée Edit and its easy, playful collection that embodies both the spirit of bold makeup, and undone, nude makeup too. With Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim bringing to life those two makeup worlds, there really is something for everyone. From the minute I laid eyes on it, I loved it. I have a lot of time for makeup brands that keep pushing the limit of colour, texture and product ingenuity to create something both fresh and exciting. The Estée Edit for me is just that, and I absolutely couldn’t wait to play around with the products.
The reason why I’ve warmed so much to The Estée Edit is that it really does have so many colour combos. The Mattified Lipstick comes in a variety of shades- beautiful nudes too! The eyeshadows in The Estée Edit palette range from matte toned warm corals, to sparkly purples and grunged-out greens.
In NYC, with the heat of the sun blazing down on me, I knew I wanted to keep my signature grunge, but mix it up a little bit. So I grabbed my Metallishadow Eye Cream in Scarlet Eclipse, and gently applied it to the eyes with a dusting of the bronze gold over the top. For me, a soft sheen of it was perfect for a Soho NYC brunch date.
The Estée Edit The Barest Contour Lip Liner looks great with their Lipsticks, but of course for a soft daytime look, you can wear the lip liner by itself with a little smidge of lip balm – especially the Cocobalm from the Estée Edit collection. I finished off the look with The Barest Blush – my genuine new favourite blush ever – and with no foundation needed, it’s the perfect city girl look.
