SHOES: NEW LOOK
I know I know, i’m still wearing these shoes. But to be fair, they’re still going strong! After a good few months of solid shoe wear, these little New Look beauties are showing no signs of giving in, incredible for a £20 purchase! I promise i’ll put them away soon but for now while the last bit of the sun shines over London Town, i’m still rocking them. Total case of sorry not sorry. Hey, I like to make my purchases worth the while. Savvy consumer over here everyone!
So i’ve been shopping in H&M recently for a collab i’m doing with them, which is over on their tumblr page, and should go live today/tomorrow, but while I was in there picking the pieces for the collab shoot I couldn’t resist grabbing a few other bits and bobs, and me being me had to shove it all on asap. It’s not every day your favourite store gives you some money to spend inside, and I went a bit nuts picking things. I hate to be one of those bloggers that looks like they only wear free stuff because the reality is that I spend so much money on clothes (okay, mostly just on ASOS) every month, but the joy of having an actual H&M voucher was too much to bear and I pretty much ran around Westfield Stratford with the biggest grin ever on my face. I met two lovely subscribers in store that day (with armfuls of clothing, grinning like an actual mad man) and immediately without thinking was shouting “IM SO SORRY FOR MY FACE!” I really should stop going out of the house with no make up on…
I’m guilty of going into a shop and buying like everything needed for one full outfit in one go, I think the excitement of shopping compels me to buy everything, and now i’m looking at this thinking it’s not making for a hugely exciting style post as pretty much everything is from H&M! Fail. Does anyone else do that? I do often go into stores and buy just one or two things to add to my wardrobe per se but when it’s a new season I can’t bloody help myself but buy entire outfits in one go, and that’s kinda what I did here with this waterfall cardigan and shaped dress. I love dresses in this shape and this one just had to come home with me. I think they’re so flattering and so pretty, and there’s absolutely no chance of a gust of wind exposing any bum cheek, which for me is a complete win. Sold, and hello Autumn!
Also I cut my own fringe recently and I think you can really tell in these photos that it’s a bit squiffy. Oops. Still, save a bit of money here and there where possible or something eh?
