I wish I had these kinds of beautiful European settings as my outfit backdrops every outfit post. I might up sticks and become a full time travel blogger – y’all alright with that? Yeah? Sweet. Done deal.
So George and I bought a new lens the other day to try and get a better depth of field in photos and these photos are pretty much it’s first outing. Of course we’re still getting to grips with it – especially in the sunshine, polarising filter lens needed! – but I think George is consistently getting better and better at photography. For a guy who had only really messed about with cameras not seriously before to going to being my official ‘photographer’ (bless him) he’s come on leaps and bounds. It’s so amazing to have a creative partner who I trust to photograph things exactly as I imagined them. I’m very proud of him. It really makes his day when he clicks on to a post and there’s just one comment that says ‘great photos!’ because it’s a self taught skill he’s learned over the last year and a half, and he’s growing better and better each day.
So these photos were taken last week when exploring Barcelona – more on that later – and as usual, it was super hot. I wore my american apparel shorts that I love so dearly with this new sheer shirt from Wildfox. It’s super sheer! It’s a bit see through but I wore my balconette bra so I think i’m getting away with it…either way I totally adore it and it’s great for the summer days. I’d not worn any Wildfox before so this was a great introduction to the brand.
