Good Evening! So burnt cranberries really wouldn’t taste very nice, right? But as an eye look, the whole coppery burnt cranberry colour works perfectly! This is something I throw on quickly before work as it’s quite soft and very easy to do. This is my first ever eyeshadow look/tutorial so let me know what works, what I need to improve on and if it was helpful to you!
Products I used:
Urban Decay Eldorado Eyeshadow
MAC Mythology Eyeshadow
MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow
MAC Fig.1 Eyeshadow
No7 Sultry Eyes Palette (I used the far right white highlight)
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Urban Decay Eldorado 24/7 Eyeliner
Urban Decay Corrupt 24/7 Eyeliner
Lancome Hypnose Mascara
MAC 213 Brush
MAC 217 Brush
Sonia Kashuk Smudge Brush
First apply Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base to the eyes. Then take the 213 and apply Eldorado on the inner third of the lid. Then apply Mythology to the middle third and blend softly with Eldorado on the inner third. Take Cranberry and apply to the outer third, and softly into the crease and then blend gently into Mythology. Using Fig.1 through the crease with a soft thin brush (a crease brush would be better for this but I don’t have one!) blend softly on the inner crease. Take Eldorado and blend to soften out Fig.1 on the outer crease. Finish up with a soft highlight colour – I used the palest from the No7 Sultry Eyes palette – underneath the eyebrow to highlight and finish the look. Line the eyes with Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Eldorado on the lower lash line, and use Urban Decay 24/7 Corrupt on the water line. Finish up with a lashing of Lancome Hypnose Mascara.
Swatches from L-R – Fig.1, Cranberry, Mythology, Eldorado, No7 highlight. Eldorado, Corrupt 24/7 Liners
Hope you liked it. Should I do more eye looks like this in the future? Do you use these eyeshadows? Any recommendations for me? Please get in touch and let me know. I’m still new to blog writing so I don’t know whats the most interesting to read!
