So a few weeks ago, the Boots Emporium landed in store. It’s a fabulous hub within Boots with a number of great services and fun products, so I popped in to check it out and take some photos to give you the lowdown!
I have also been working with Boots on three spooky Halloween tutorials that will be playing in store at the Emporium, so do make sure you check that out and take a picture if you see one!
Engraving is such a sweet, personal way to give gifts and make them really special. Boots have incorporated this into the Emporium, with an engraving station that you can take your products to! There’s always a really knowledgable and lovely member of staff on hand to engrave items for you, and you can choose anything from a palette, to a perfume or a brush! I had a palette and a Real Techniques brush engraved and i’m just so so happy with them! The brush in particular is such a gorgeous little gift. I think it’s so fun to pull together little items for christmas gift boxes, and that’s exactly what Boots have done in store. They’ve created a little gift box building area, where you choose a little box and fill it with beautiful beauty items. They were all Benefit or Estee Lauder, so you just know whoever is going to receive the box is going to be over the moon! The station it was at was like a pick and mix box so I loved pulling some items out for my box! You can even wrap the gift boxes in personalised ribbon to make it even more unique, too!
Another super fun thing that I know is going to go down so well is the build your own palette area. I think sometimes you look at makeup palettes in store and you wish you could just swap out one shade for another, or put in a highlight instead of a blush. Well now thanks to this genius little area, you can do this at Boots, too! I had so much fun pulling together a little palette of Makeup Obsession singles that were a bit Halloween themed ready to get spooky this Halloween season! I went for a twelve slot palette, but you can also downsize to an eight – which is a little more travel friendly. You can choose from eyeshadows, blushers aswell as cream & powder highlighters – what more could you want? Love it!
The best thing to do is keep an eye on the website here to see what’s going on at your nearest Emporium, but when I visited it was all about gorgeous base and pretty pinks – but now of course – and to coincide with my Halloween videos! – it’s all about Halloween! Expect NYX goodies and amazing high street colourful gems a-plenty, and you can try them all out at the test and play station, which I think is a great idea! Get swatching, playing and trying out the product before you buy. There was also product i’d not heard of before or maybe not noticed, so the test and play area really was a great introduction to new brands – and I think you’re gonna love this around Halloween!
So there we go, that’s the lowdown on the amazing Boots Emporium, if you want to see it come to life a bit you can click here to watch my video where I take you in store and show a little haul of everything I got!
