I know i’ve worn this dress before, but I love taking pieces from being one season through to another – transitional and multi-functional. Perfect. Here’s how I wore it in the Summer and now we’re in autumn and i’m teaming it with this brand new fluffball of a cardi I got last week. I had to go and meet George’s lovely mumma to pick up a suit for George as we have a wedding coming up, and she surprised me with this lovely gift of a gorgeous black fluffy cardi from one of her favourite collections, the Marks & Spencer Limited Collection. I was so surprised and grateful – we were shopping for George not me! She’s amazing and I absolutely love George’s entire family to bits.
The Marks & Spencer Limited Collection is not somewhere i’d normally think to look, but after seeing it in store i’ll definitely be checking it again, as the clue is in the title, and they only have a limited run of pieces before they go. When they’re gone they’re gone. This allows them to keep more on trend pieces in and buy things in smaller amounts, making for a bold and daring collection, something that looks far more Topshop than Marks and Spencer. Very pleasantly surprised. Of course it’s all top notch quality as well, so it’s really worth the price tag. You can check it out on sale here online on Marks and Spencer.
I fell in love with this cardi pretty much immediately, hence throwing it straight on (even though it’s actually been quite warm recently!) and I love the instant Twiggy sixties vibe it brought to this dress.
I’m still not over the scandi 90s top bun so i’m still loving having my hair styled like that! I’m having my hair done tomorrow in time for fashion week and i’m so so excited to have fresh bleached roots and a bright fun colour ready for the cobbles! What do you think of this autumnal ensemble?
