I think it’d be fair to say i’ve neglected this blog for what feels like forever. I think the industry just kept changing, changing, and changing some more and while I found myself over at YouTube, I ended up just sitting, watching and absorbing what was happening in the blog-world around me. I think blogs are changing, dramatically. And that’s totally cool, things evolve and move on – if they didn’t we’d all be stale and bored in the same old life. It just takes a bit of thinking sometimes onto how to progress, how to move forward and how to revamp your blog to fit in with the new.
So, it’s time for a change. Just over two years ago on February 25th 2013, I relaunched this blog as Zoe London, with the help of my wizardly friend Tom, we built the new site that at the time was a little different to other blogs around. It was awesome and it gave me life to begin afresh. The same needs to happen again now. So, it’s going to look different around here.
For the next fortnight, expect minimal content while Tom and I work behind the scenes continuing designing, planning and rebuilding the Zoe London blog for relaunch.I’m brimming with ideas on how to bring us fully into 2016 and I hope you’ll love the newly launched site when it lands. It might mean a move to WordPress, so that might mean taking the blog down and replacing it with a landing page for the short time being – but we’ll work to make sure it’s not long.In the meantime, i’m working on newer, more engaging and thought-provoking content to disperse among my usual beauty/fashion/life tips and tricks.
As I mentioned in my last post, i’ll be involving a lot more food into the mix, as well as much, much more music, interviews and thicker, editorial features for you to sink your teeth into. I’ve been thinking about this for over two months now and it’s finally time to set wheels in motion and begin a new year ahead with a new site. I feel really positive for the future of Zoe London v2.0 and I hope you will, too.
But for now? Bear with us a little. Thanks for sticking by me all this time. While you wait for new reading material, my YouTube channel here is being updated every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with brand new content that I hope you love.
